make me pretty – chain link love

I had so much fun last week with my new paint and wood grain combo that I decided to do another piece using the same technique. I have had this chair sitting in the garage for a while, my friend Leslie rescued it from the trash for me, but I just wasn’t sure what to do with it.

So I painted everything but the seat a fun green color. Then I stenciled on the chain link design and painted the seat around it with the same green. When the paint was dry I painted the whole chair with a coat of dark brown stain.
